I’m going to be working with stencils almost exclusively for a while.
Why, you ask?
The art form needs to evolve, there is a lot of room for growth and I feel up to the challenge.
Stenciling is also a far more intimate collaboration with a city wall. With paint you can contribute to the rich history of the urban canvas, with wheat paste you’re just covering it up.
That’s not to say that wheatpasting isn’t a valid form of Street Art. I enjoy making and seeing it. I’m just saying that stencils are much, much cooler.
